Day 340 – Monday

This morning we got up to ride but, life hit us early.  We both got business calls and between balance the business duties and handling the kids breakfast the morning disappeared on us.

We were also planning to go to Canyonlands National Park and we had to rethink that with lunchtime upon us and still a little work to finish up.  

Typically we both have business obligations almost everyday.  However, we usually can spread out those obligations so that we don’t have to work at the same time and there is plenty of time for us to spend with the kids.  Today was not that day and this happens every so often.

We decided that we would go to Arches today and Canyonlands tomorrow but, that didn’t work out either.  Sometimes the planets don’t align and everyone wasn’t feeling their best. So, I had to settle for dinner and a movie with the family.  There have been worse situations and we always seem to have fun.

Sometimes we make lots of plans and God laughs at us.

We did make it to the pool after dinner and since no one has been in a pool in months, that was definitely the highlight of the day for the kids.
