It’s been getting a little colder each night since Sunday and last night it dropped down to 36 degrees. I disconnected the water hose outside because I was afraid it might freeze overnight but, it never hit freezing. We had our water house freeze up in NM one night and it was a lot of work to defrost it. I didn’t want to have to go through that again.
It warmed up to 56 degrees today and I was able to get up on the roof to clear off the pinecones and pine needles from the roof. They heat up and leave sap on everything so I try to sweep them off when it warms up. Plus, we are expecting snow and I don’t need a combination of snow and pinecones frozen to the roof. LOL
