We drove through a mountain pass for the first time and experienced the biggest mountains we’ve ever seen!
We went from White Sands, NM to Tucson. It was a long day driving. We threw in a couple of stops to refuel and stretch the legs.
We feel very connected to this state already. It’s just so beautiful. Even the rest areas have huge mountains and boulders beyond your wildest dreams.
Even the kids were blown away by what they saw. It’s awe inspiring.
We got into Tucson so late we decided to grab a bite to eat downtown and then headed right to bed. The town was hopping with college kids everywhere and delicious places to eat. We were exited to explore Tucson tomorrow!!
