Saturday was an awesome day. We hit up the French Quarters for the first time with the kids.
They experienced Bourbon Street and got so beads!! It was so fun. We also ended up seeing a parade. The kids were in awe of the experience. So much fun watching them get beads and balls and feathers and whatever else they threw at us.
We then hit up Cafe Beignet since the famous cafe Dumonde was slammed and we weren’t heading that way!
The day ended with us enjoying a few art shops on the local streets. There were so many places to walk into it was hard to decide!
The kids came home and unpacked all they had gotten and called it a night.
We plan to head back out tomorrow so we all needed our rest!
