What we do when we arrive at an RV park.

Every 50 days I make another one of these extra blog posts about how we do something or my favorite or least favorite things that’s happened so far. I got a request on 3 lessons I’ve learned so far but I decided weeks ago this was what I was going to do so I stuck to it. I will consider doing it on day 150.

When we arrive my dad parks the RV near the front entrance and walks into the camp store with my mom and whoever wants to come. When he gets back he drives the RV into the site number they give us. When we get there my dad takes the bikes off the Jeep and detaches the Jeep from the RV and sets up our water, our power and our sewer. Meanwhile on the inside we take the slides out and move all of our stuff from the bathroom to our counter where they belong. If you haven’t already go and read my day 50 special about what we do before we leave. It might give you a better idea of what I mean when I say move all of the stuff from the bathroom to the kitchen counter. When we take the slides out their is dirt and little crumbs everywhere because of all the stuff that slides under our counter. When we move it all comes out over our floors. So I vacuum when we arrive usually. After that we turn our heat back on and take everything out of our shower. That is usually how it works.

I love writing these little extra posts because it just feels cool writing a step by step on how we do stuff. Stay tuned on Day 150 to hear more about how we do something or something like that.

  1. Love it! From a fellow Rvโ€™er, I can totally appreciate the fact that you store stuff in the shower too! ๐Ÿ™‚
    Itโ€™s a process isnโ€™t it?!
