DAY 6- Newport, RI

Today I’m writing a little bit later than usual. I woke up this morning just not wanting to write anything. I didn’t know when, but I knew I would feel the moment to write sometime today. Now’s the time 1:11pm.

Yesterday I started my day normal. I ate some breakfast and wrote I’m my vlog. It is called a vlog now because I added a picture. My sister quickly went to her friend’s trailer to play. My other sister came along and went to the park to find them playing on the swings. They came back in about 1 hour, they wanted to go to the pool with their friends, which was pretty normal after about 1 hour. We all went to the pool till around 1:30pm.

My dad really wanted to go to south Newport that day, and it was an hour away. We left at around 2:50pm and got there in around an hour. I took a nap in the car, apparently I was very tired. When we got there I was surprised, THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE! I totally forgot it was the Fourth of July week. We found a good spot to park after searching for about 10 to 15 minutes. We walked around and found a nice spot to eat. It was only 35 minute wait for a family of 5. Which made me very happy as I thought it would take at least an hour to get a spot. We ate, got some ice cream and my mom got to look at all the boats in the harbor. Everyone was happy, except for Caitlin who didn’t like the shoes she was wearing. She said they made her feet hurt. Otherwise we were fine on our way home at around 7:50pm.

We went to a Walmart on the way home to get Caitlin a new bathing suit. We ended up getting home at around 8:55pm. Since there was no traffic we got home earlier that expected. We all got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Today I already know how the day mostly went. But no spoilers you can hear about it tomorrow. I’ll only tell you we don’t have anything big planned.
